DSA is Committed to Green Design. Sustainability is achieved through a variety of choices in the design process, including:

• Environmentally sensitive site development
• Passive solar design, using natural breezes and sun angles to reduce heating and cooling costs
• Active solar energy strategies (solar hot water heating and solar electricity generation)
• Design to reduce water consumption, for reuse of gray water, and to capture and utilize rainwater
